Albert! or -My Life In The Ocean was selected to be shown at two film festivals in May. The Langston Hughes African Film Festival in Washington and then at the Santa Cruz Film Festival. This film is also featured in a compilation of DVD Shorts called A Moment Of Youth that is now available on Amazon. In this film, I played Loretta, the other to Albert; played by Trevor Jackson (Kevin Blake on Eureka: SyFi Channel).
Last year I was fortunate to be part of a cast of 24 that recorded an Audiobook, The Patrick Scott Smokin’ Mysteries read by Pat Fraley , Scott Brick Narrator Extraordinaire and a full cast. This project was done to raise money for the Wavedancer Foundation; a non-profit organization with a mission to foster the welfare, healing and recovery of disabled professionals (voice over talent) and to provide opportunities to rebuild their lives. Last month book found a home with Blackstone Audio, the largest independent audiobook publisher in the country. It’s exciting to know that this special project turned out to have an even happier ending.
